Abel Grey – Outsider On The Inside

Abel Grey returns abelwith his new EP, ‘Ousider On The Inside’.
This is hip hop, but hip hop mixed with folk, indie, and other influences which will make it more appealing to non-hip hop fans. But just as you think Grey could go down the Ed Sheeran route, he switches it up and proves he can hold his own with any so called “real” rappers out there right now.
Mixing live instrumentation and electronics, this is definitely a unique release, covering a lot of ground within its 5 tracks. Eclectic, entertaining, informative and honest, it’s definitely worth picking up this EP.

Telemachus – In Morocco

The new Telemtelachus album, ‘In Morocco’ is released on Monday the 8th December.
The highly anticipated follow-up to, ‘In The Evening’, is a fantastic mix of electronic bass kicks, sparse dubstep influenced rhythms, native African instrumentation, and percussion heavy beats. The London producer has made a truly unique and refreshing album, taking his sound into new areas and new levels.
Check out this snippet mix and then grab the album on Monday, pre-orders  for the extremely limited, only 100 in the world, vinyl are being taken now, so get in there while you can from the YNR Productions Bandcamp.

Hezus – H+R mixtape

Hezus release a brand new mixtape on the Hit & Run label.
It is a heady and heavy mix of beats, blues, soul, psychedelia and of course plenty of drums!
You need to hear this excellent mix of rare, fantastic music. If you are quick you can still grab one of the super limited cassettes, along with a t-shirt or there is digital too.

Benjamin One – The Drum Role

Bristol producer Benjamin One releases his début album, ‘The Drum Role’ on the new Universal Magnetic imprint.
The album is a great mix of electronic beats, experimental hip hop, grime, dubstep, electro and more. From the first track, ‘Better Up’, which sounds like a mix between classic Neptunes production, El-P and Prefuse 73, I was hooked.
At 16 track deep, this is a pretty long album, but it entertains all the way through, taking you on a journey through Ben’s infectious influences and showing his unique take on electronic music.
There are some tasty bundles to be had, including special USB versions and t-shirts. Check it out now via bandcamp.

Rap Man Josh EP

London rrapmanapper, Rap Josh Man is coming at you with his new self-titled EP.
This is 7 tracks of unique, kind of nerdy, spacey themed hip hop, happy to do his own thing, Josh’s sound is fresh and engaging.
If you enjoy the sounds of UK hip hoppers Strangelove, then you will like Josh, unsurprisingly the EP is produced by Strangelove’s Demeraera and all the better for it.
If you are after some UK hip hop with a bit of a twist then this is the EP for you!
