Dr Strange and Friends

The Diabolical Dr Strange is back with a tasty free album featuring the good doctor on production and a roaster of his friends on the vocals. This is 10 tracks of heavy, cellar dwelling hip hop, rough and raw, just how we like it. As ever Doc Strange captures that grimy, underground, early 90’s sound and feel, bringing it up to date and sounding fresh.

Walter Gross – Super Basic

Walter Gross returns with a new beat tape that pull on all his influences to create an unique, left of centre, experimental album.
“Super Basic” ranges from hard hitting, distorted beats to off kilter electronica and ambient noise. At times I’m reminded of fellow beat creator Al Lover, with the woozey wash of sounds on offer. It definitely makes for interesting listening.
The limited edition cassette and digital are released on May 23rd and we suggest you seek it out!

El Michels Affair – Return To The 37th Chamber

El Michels Affair “Return To The 37th Chamber” with their new tribute to the Wu-Tang Clan and the music that influenced their trade mark sound.

With Lee Fields and Nicole Wray of The Shacks coming along for the ride and some awesome artwork to boot, this is an album you need in your collection. Available now on Big Crown Records.
