Wrongtom Meets The Ragga Twins – In Time

The new album from WrongTom and the legendary Ragga Twins is now available to pre-order. “In Time” takes the Twins back to their roots in dub and digital reggae, before they entered the world of rave and breakbeats.
As ever, WrongTom’s production is completely on point, hitting that authentic dancehall retro sound, without sounding like a cliched throw back. It sounds like Tom was making dancehall dub in the 80’s and has never stopped, and believe us you don’t want him to!
The album is released at the end of the month and is the perfect soundtrack to your summer, and winter and all year round. Pre-order it now via bandcamp and check out the video for the single “Bacchanal”.

Torb The Roach & Floppy McSpace “Tape Echo – Gold Floppies”

torbOk, so we don’t know a lot about these guys, but anyone who promotes their new release with a 16 minute movie as good and as freaky as this, deserves to get written about.
Their sound is lo-fi, yet traditional hip hop with added twists and turns creating a unique sound. As the title suggests, there’s a real use and fondness of the SP1200 and more analogue sounds and techniques adding to the warmth and hardness of the production. Released early next month on King Underground records, you can pre-order your copy now and just watch the film, it’s awesome!
