Telemachus – Locust

Master of the beats, Telemachus is back with the new single, “Locust”. Taken from the forthcoming album, “In Morocco”, more on that very soon, the single shows a new direction in Telemachus’ sound. Mixing traditional African instrumentation with heavy 808 kicks, the single bridges the gap between hip hop, dancehall and electronica. The digital single also comes with a tasty remix from Henry Wu. Grab it now and peep the video too.

Kwabs – Perfect Ruin (Telemachus Remix)

Here is a fantastic  piece of laid back, modern soul music. Kwabs providing the vocals, full of heart-felt pain and soul, and Telemachus providing a great remix. This time, Telemachus’ production is less hip hop, more downbeat, electronica, creating a haunting soundscape, not disimilar to James Blake.
Better yet, you can download the track for free!

Belle – Lapwing (Telemachus Remix)

Being big fans of pretty everything Telemachus releases, we are always eager to hear new material and his latest remix of Belle’s “Lapwing” doesn’t dissapoint.
Bring his laid back sound to the track, snappy drums, woozy sound scapes and there is definitely a dub feel to the track too. This remix is taken from the compilation album, “WotNot Advent Calendar 2013: in aid of ShelterBox” released on the WatNot label to raise money for those affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Great music for a good cause.

Action Bronson remixed by Telemachus

Telemachus is at it again! You cannot deny the quality of this mans musical production. This time he comes with a remix of man of the moment, Action Bronsons track, “Get Off The Peepee”.
The “Albanian Horror Remix” title is very apt here, with its spooky synths and super heavy clanging beats, reminiscent of Main Sources “Live At the BBQ” and the Nautilus break. The remix is taken from Telemachus’ mix for Wordplay magazine, “Wordplay Sessions Vol. 3”.

Real raw, heavy hip hop people!
