Torb The Roach & Floppy McSpace “Tape Echo – Gold Floppies”
Ok, so we don’t know a lot about these guys, but anyone who promotes their new release with a 16 minute movie as good and as freaky as this, deserves to get written about.
Their sound is lo-fi, yet traditional hip hop with added twists and turns creating a unique sound. As the title suggests, there’s a real use and fondness of the SP1200 and more analogue sounds and techniques adding to the warmth and hardness of the production. Released early next month on King Underground records, you can pre-order your copy now and just watch the film, it’s awesome!
